About Us

Ms. Pennington has worked in early childhood education as both a teacher and administrator for more than 35 years. She holds a degree in Family and Child Development from Texas State University, where she graduated summa cum laude. She is currently the director of a nationally accredited school in downtown Austin, Texas, and is listed as a Master Registered Trainer on the Texas Trainer Registry (#1689). In addition, she serves as a Program Validator for the National Accreditation Commission for Early Care and Education Programs.

Since 1997, Ms. Pennington has presented to teachers, administrators, and parents in a wide variety of settings and group sizes, accumulating more than 300 hours of experience as a trainer and presenter. Her background includes work in both full-time child care centers and part-time preschools, giving her a deep understanding of the unique needs of different program structures. As a school director herself, she understands how challenging it can be to find training that is practical, relevant, and immediately applicable. Her goal in every presentation is to ensure participants leave engaged, challenged, and invigorated.
