Ms. Pennington has been working in early childhood education as a teacher and administrator for over 30 years. She has a degree in Family and Child Development from Texas State University, summa cum laude. She is currently the director of a nationally accredited school in downtown Austin, Texas. She is also listed as a Master Registered Trainer on the Texas Trainer Registry (#1689). She is a Program Validator for the National Accreditation Commission for Early Care and Education Programs.
Ms. Pennington has presented to teachers, administrators, and parents since 1997 in a wide range of settings and group sizes. In that time, she has over 300 hours of experience as a trainer and presenter. She has worked in full-time child care centers and part-time preschools and understands the unique needs of the different program structures. As a school director, she knows how challenging it can be to find a trainer that provides well-rounded information for teachers that is relevant and applicable to their classrooms and children. Her goal in presenting is to have each participant engaged, challenged, and invigorated in the session.
